With the Campus Print app, you can easily print at University of Groningen, but also at other educational institutions where Canon provides printing services, such as Hanze University in Groningen. The Campus Print App makes it easy to switch locations.
As a student, you can have a University account and a guest account at the other organisation at the same time. This is handy if, for example, you are also studying at the other organisation. Or that other institution is located on the same campus, such as Hanze on the Zernike campus.
To print at the other organisation, you still need to transfer print credit in the Campus Print App from the wallet of your main account to the wallet of your guest account. This is free and possible without a bank transaction. You can also transfer the money from your guest account back to your main account free of charge at any time.
This is how it works
1. Open the Campus Print app. The first time, you have to log in with your University account.
2. To add a new location to your account, click on the UG logo at the top of the screen. Click [+ Add location].
3. Click the organisation's logo in the overview. If it is not there, enter (part of) its name in the search field. Then click on the logo in the overview.
4. You are now in the other organisation's environment. Click on [Login as guest user].
If you do not yet have a (guest) account with this organisation, click [Create guest account] and enter your details and a different email address, i.e. xxx@gmail.com.
5. You will receive an e-mail at this e-mail address. Click on the link in the message and confirm your account.
6. You can now log in to the guest account in the Campus Print app. By tapping the logo at the top left, you can switch between accounts.
7. To transfer (part of your) private print credit to the other wallet, click the [Transfer] button in the Campus Print app. You can only transfer private credit, not credit received from your organisation.
