Print with the RUG Internet Printer from your private MacBook or Windows laptop (BYOD)

To send print jobs from your private MacBook, iMac or Windows laptop to a Canon printer, you must download and install the appropriate printer driver.

Important: to install the printer software, you must be logged in to the print portal: https://rug.mycampusprint.nl

• Install the RUG Internet Printer for Windows 64-bit
• Install the RUG Internet Printer for Mac OS X
  
  

1. Go to the print window of the application from which you want to print. You open the print window by using the [Print] button or symbol.
   
   
2. Select the RUG Internet printer in the list of printers.
   
   
3. Click [Print].
   
   
4. Your account setting determine if print settings are displayed or that the job is sent with default print settings. Your account settings can be set in the UG Print portal. You can also change the print settings on the Canon printer later on. (Configure the print settings for the Canon Internet Printer).
   
   
5. Click [Send print job] if the print settings are correct.
   
   
6. Your print job is sent to the Canon printers.
