Never want to run out of print credit again? Then you can top up your print credit automatically. You issue an authorization for this. You can turn off your automatic top-up at any time and have your print credit refunded to your bank account.
The four steps of automatic top-up
Step 1. If you activate automatic top-up, you choose a minimum top-up amount (e.g. € 5)
Step 2. You pay the chosen minimum top-up amount once with your bank account and issue a
standing order to top up your print credit automatically from now on.
Step 3. At the end of each day, it is checked how high your print credit is.
Step 4. If your print credit is less than € 1 , the print credit will be automatically topped up. The top-
up amount will then be debited from your bank account. Your new print credit is at least € 3
after automatic top-up.
When will your credit be topped up automatically?
There are two rules when calculating the top-up amount:
- The credit after top-up is at least € 3 (this is the threshold value).
- If the amount needed to top up your credit to € 3 is less than the minimum top-up amount you chose, your credit will be topped up with the minimum top-up amount (for example, € 5).
Calculation example: your current credit is - € 1
Selected minimum top-up amount is € 5.
To top up your credit to the threshold of € 3, your credit should be topped up by € 4. However, this amount is less than the chosen top up amount, so your credit will be topped up with € 5. Your new credit will therefore be - € 1 + € 5 = € 4.
Calculation example: your current credit is - € 4
Selected minimum top-up amount is € 5.
To top up your credit to the threshold value of € 3, your credit must be topped up with € 7 instead of the minimum top-up amount. Your new credit will therefore be - € 4 + € 7 = € 3
Pay afterwards
After the automatic top-up transaction, you can immediately use your new credit. The top-up amount will be debited from your bank account within a few days.
