The RUG Internet Printer allows students, employees and guest users with a private Mac computer, to send a print job over the Internet, from any location.
Important:
- Make sure you are logged in to https://rug.mycampusprint.nl
- If you have an older version of the Internet Printer installed, first remove the old version.
- Download the RUG Internet Printer for Mac.
- Go to your Downloads folder and select the downloaded file.
- Choose Open with > DiskImageMounter (default).
On your desktop, the mounted file is visible. Double-click to open and proceed to step 8.
If you cannot mount the file with the DiskImageMounter, follow from step 4:
4. Through your Finder, go to Apps > Utilities > Disk Utility
5. In the Disk Utility menu, click File > Open Disk Image
6. In the Downloads folder, select the downloaded file. Click [Open].
7. The mounted file is now visible on your desktop. Double-click to open.
8. Control-click on signed.pkg.
9. Click on Open with > Installer (default).10. Click on [Continue].
11. Click [Install] in de [Installation Type] page.
12. Enter your Mac administrator credentials and click [Install software].
13. When the installation has been completed, click [Close].
14. You can now remove the installation program.
15. Click [Allow] to give access to your Downloads folder.
16. Go to> System Preferences > Printers & Scanners
17. Select the installed printer.18. Click [Set Default Printer] if you want to use the RUG Internet Printer as default printer.
